We Ship to most international countries that accept USPS packages. The buyer is responsible for all taxes, customs, and import fees.
Shipping
Shipping fees are based on weight, package size, and destination. We ship through USPS and offer Ground Advantage as the default option. Packages usually arrive within 2-5 business days; however, we are not responsible for shipping delays or lost packages. Please see the damaged Items & Lost Package section for more information. tracking information will automatically be sent to the email you provide at checkout.
Damaged Items & Lost packages
At Valerian Gems, we pride ourselves on providing you with the best experience possible. We put lots of care in wrapping and securing each item to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. In the event that your package arrives damaged, you can file a claim through USPS. We are not responsible for damaged, stolen, delayed or lost packages. All information is listed below.
Package Insurance & Signature Confirmation
Packages are automatically insured up to $100 through USPS Ground Advantage. If you would like to insure a package that is valued higher than $100, please find the 'Shipping Insurance' listing on our website and select the desired monetary value. You can also add a signature confirmation to ensure that your package is delivered to the intended person.
Filing a claim for damaged, lost, or stolen items
Buyer is responsible for filing a claim at www.usps.com/domestic-claims for lost, Damaged, or STOLEN/Missing Contents. We are not responsible for your package once it is dropped off at USPS. If you plan to file a claim, make sure it is within 24 hours of delivery. If your item is damaged, take photos for proof and keep original packaging. 4.2 [Insurance Coverage — Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage — Retail, and USPS Ground Advantage — Commercial]
Priority Mail pieces (including Priority Mail Return service), USPS Ground Advantage — Retail mail, and USPS Ground Advantage — Commercial pieces (including USPS Ground Advantage Return service) are insured against loss, damage, or missing contents, for no more than $100.00 in coverage, subject to the following:
Insurance coverage is provided against loss, damage, or missing contents and is limited to a maximum liability of $100.00 when the pieces bear an Intelligent Mail package barcode (IMpb) or USPS retail tracking barcode (see 4.3.4) and the mailer pays retail or commercial prices.
In addition to the insurance coverage under 4.2a, additional insurance may be purchased for no more than a maximum coverage of $5,000.00.
Priority Mail pieces meeting the requirements under 4.2, but not supported by a Shipping Services file must have a full acceptance scan in order to qualify for automatic insurance coverage.
Insurance coverage under 4.2a is not provided for Priority Mail pieces mailed as Priority Mail Open and Distribute or Premium Forwarding Service.
